Jim Cymbala's When God's People Pray
We start this campaign this Wed.
Just thought I'd add that this campaign represents a challenge to the apprentices and I on many counts.
Firstly, this is a more "serious" and "spiritual" topic compared to busyness. Hence, discussions may be more serious. We must share freely to build one another up in this essential part of Christian living.
Secondly, each session requires us to be super on-time. Something we are, ahem, not very good at, myself included. So we really do need to keep to the time frame given.
Thirdly, this campaign requires us to be independent. If we take a closer look at Session 1 (which we should be doing), we'll notice a section called Personal Journey. This should be done ALONE, at home or at work. If we leave this out, then we are not fufilling the full potential of this book. However, only do this part AFTER ALG each week.
Fourthly, do pray along with all of us for a successful campaign. Not having Joey around is quite a handicap for the apprentices and I. However, I choose to look at it positively and see that people like Yewhock, Ben and Joycelyn are given an opportunity to try their hand at facilitating.
