Customised Service

God deals with us each on a personal basis, depending on our understanding of Him and our condition.

For example, He may choose to reveal himself after a certain time, like He did with the two disciples en route to Emmaus (Luke 24:13-32). These two were grieving, so Jesus wanted them to come to terms with their sorrow and deal with their pain. That's why He spoke to them wothout revealing Himself first.

Alternatively. Jesus appeared suddenly to His disciples in Jersalem soon after (Luke 24:36-49). Why the difference? The disciples weren't grieving; it was mroe an issue of confusion and unbelief that Christ needed to address.

God can be trusted to reveal Himself appropriately and pertinently.
